Daimler showcases Made-in-India trucks at IAA

German automaker Daimler AG showcased trucks manufactured at its Chennai plant aat the 66th IAA International Commercial Vehicles exhibition. The company, which is present in India through wholly-owned subsidiary Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), showcased BharatBenz3723R, a five axle rigid truck with a gross vehicle weight of 37 tonne at the exhibition.

Successful Year for DICV

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, experienced a successful year 2015 as domestic sales increased by 37 per cent to 14,000 units on the strength of the BharatBenz brand?s powerful product lineup.
